About the Advisory Committee
The Centre for Palliative Care’s Advisory Committee positively supports and promotes the work of the Centre and its strategic plan.
The committee provides advice to the Director of the Centre in the following areas:
1. Research
- Identifying priority research areas
- Assisting with the developmental role of the Centre in facilitating research and research networks across Victoria.
2. Education
Developing education and training programs and resources and evaluating their effectiveness.
3. Collaborations
Identifying partners (funding, clinical and academic at local, interstate and international levels) that the Centre could work with to progress its educational and research initiatives.
4. Infrastructure and resources
- Identifying opportunities and strategies for enhancing the Centre’s marketing activities, funding, resources and infrastructure
- Assisting with the strategic direction of the Centre for Palliative Care Foundation.
